Things to do in Nepal / Itinerary :
2N Katmandu / 2N Pokhara

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu + City Tour
Arrival in Katmandu by flight
Transfer to your hotel in a private vehicle
Local Katmandu sightseeing (select any 4):
– Dholeshwar Mahadev Temple, believed to be connected to Kedarnath Temple
– Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
– 55-Window Palace
– Nyatapola Temple
– Pottery Square
– Kailashnath Mahadev Statue (tallest statues of Lord Shiva in the world)

* Optional – Nyatapola Temple (Nepal’s tallest pagoda-style temple)
– After Lunch, drive up to the hill station of Nagarkot to see distant glimpses of Mount Everest and Langtang Himalayan Valley
Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay

Day 2: Half-Day Tour: Pashupatinath, Guhyeshwari & Boudhanath
Tour: Pashupatinath Temple, Guhyeshwari Shaktipeeth Temple, Boudhanath Stupa largest in world.

Optional Full Day Tour:
– Swayambhunath Monkey Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
– Chandragiri Hills (view Himalayan ranges from Annapurna to Everest)
* Optional – Cable Car ride
– Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva)
– Jal Narayan Temple / “Sleeping Vishnu” / “Jalakshetra” Temple
– Narayanhiti Royal palace museum – former royal palace, home to the monarchs of Nepal (Wed closed)


Day 3: Transfer from Kathmandu to Pokhara
By Flight – 30 Mins flight by Yeti Airlines
If you take the flight, you get panoramic views of the Mt Everest.
Once you arrive in Pokhara, you may take a stroll around the Phewa lake.
Overnight in Pokhara

By Road – 220 km / 8 hrs
* Optional – On the way, visit Manakamana Temple by Cable car or Trishula River Rafting on your own (Paid activity)

Day 4: Full-Day Pokhara Sightseeing with Sunrise tour at Sarangkot
Early start your day at 5:30 AM
– Drive to Sarangkot Hill to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas
– Sacred Bindabasini Temple (Goddess Durga), and back to hotel for breakfast
– Pumdikot (tall Shiva Statue and views of Pokhara Valley)
– World Peace Stupa with views of Fewa Lake
In the afternoon, explore the local sightseeing:
– Devi’s Waterfall
– Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave (Shiva lingam and striking rock formations)
After the tour, return to the hotel.

– Mahendra Cave, Bat Cave, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave (Shiva lingam and striking rock formations)
– Devi’s Waterfall
– Seti River Gorge (white water river)
– Bindabasini Temple
– Gorkha Mountain Museum
– Paid adventure activities with transfers: paragliding, ultra-light flights, zip-lining, bungee jumping

Day 5: Transfer to Pokhara / Katmandu airport for flight back home

Where to Shop:
* Thamel (Kathmandu): A central hub for all types of souvenirs.
* Patan (Lalitpur): Known for fine metal statues and traditional handicrafts.
* Bhaktapur: Renowned for pottery and wood carvings.

Tips:
Singing Bowls: Test the resonance of different bowls to find your preferred tone.
Haggle: Always negotiate prices, particularly in tourist areas like Thamel
Authenticity: Real antiques require a government certificate to be exported.
